This place just reopened here on Ile St. Louis which was and is called the St. Regis. The problem I have with it is that it is a complete copy of McNally's Schiller's Liquor Bar. The stenciled wine bottles on the wall, the tiled walls, the deco style florescent lighting. I hope they know about this in NY. It is a great copy, do not get me wrong, but it is just that. A nouveau faux faux nouveau French bistro. How meta.
